No too sure about this one

I purchased this tie bar for my daughter who plays the snare drum in her Symphonic Band, obviously to keep her tie out of the way. I wasn’t sold on any of the musical themed tie bars available and there weren’t any with drums. Because of their school mascot, I decided on the arrow. The piece itself is beautifully crafted, however the hinge is pretty flimsy and so you have to help it align correctly. I don’t think this will be that big of a deal, should still hold, however when you pay for something, you want it to work as it is intended and do it well. Longevity has yet to be determined, however with it being flimsy, my fear is this won’t last long without breaking, but we shall see…
