How did your passion for menswear start?
I always had an interest in menswear but was never able to fully explore it when I was younger as my college job required a very casual attire. After college, I accepted a job in banking where I have to suit up every day. That is when I started exploring and really getting into menswear and started trying new things out.
What are your goals as an influencer?
As an influencer, I hope to be able to inspire other people to always want to look their best but above that, to inspire people to be themselves and express themselves through what they wear and have that tell a story.
Describe your outfit.
Here I am sporting the items from my first Guapbox. I chose a light blue shirt to go with the blue and brown striped tie to allow the tie to be the focal point. The brown pocket square peaks just a little as an added touch. The suede, perforated detail of the double monk straps go perfectly with the no-show socks that also came in the Guapbox. Lastly, as a fan of suit separates a light gray unstructured blazer with navy chinos for a nice spin yet not overwhelming as to not take away from the details of the outfit.
Describe your personal style.
I actually don’t have an actual term that describes my style. I prefer suit separates. I feel that anyone can throw on nice, expensive tailored suit on and look good. I like separates because it allows me to throw my own twist into the outfit, add colors and add my personality to it. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn’t and to me, that is perfectly okay. Every time it is a learning experience for things to wear again or not to wear. But don’t get me wrong, every now and then I’ll wake up with a desire throw on a full suit. Besides that, accessories are a must, it allows me to stand out from the rest and it allows there to be more to a look than just a tie.
Random fun fact about you.
A tripod and the remote shooting app on my phone are my best friends. 95% of the pictures, I take myself. But if any photographer is willing to lend a hand every now and then, I will gladly agree.
