Floral Bow Ties
There's no doubt about it. Bow ties are back, and they're more fashionable than ever. In this day and age, a man who wears a bow tie exudes class, sophistication, confidence, and style, whether he is pairing them with an informal or formal ensemble. A bow tie tells the world that you went to extra lengths to look good, and oh yes, you will look darn good. One of the biggest trends in men's neckwear right now is the floral bow tie, and with one (or more!) in your arsenal you simply can't go wrong.
Bow ties originated in the 17th century, with Croatian mercenaries wearing what were then referred to as "cravats" to keep the openings of their shirts closed. French upperclassmen adopted the trend, and from that point onward, bow ties and ties became a staple in men's formal fashion. In the latter half of the 20th century, bow ties began to stagnate in men's everyday attire, as men's fashion designers turned to
skinny ties instead. However this began to change in the 21st century as celebrity "early adopters" of fashion trends began to sport bow ties on the red carpet. In a resurgence of a classic trend, the bow tie was reborn. Today, you'll find that men of all ages and for all occasions are rocking bow ties in all sorts of patterns and cuts.
